 Wow what a wonderful night!

The tables were full with people also standing! Wonderful to see.

The audience were fantastic! Children dancing and people clapping along and singing with the bands... A wonderful thing to watch! The night is for you, the audience as much as it is providing a platform for the bands to perform and grow and continue to play wonderful music. There is nothing like live music! 🎼🎤🎷🎺

The caterers (Kampung Kitchen Deliciously Devious, Delicious Waffles and The Coffee Pot) provided amazing food and it seems that the audience totally agreed! 🍔🍴

But most importantly, the bands were fantastic!

The High school bands for the first time this year were part of the evening program. AND were wonderful! For some of those young players it was their very first performances! So HUGE congratulations to them, you should be very proud and we hope you continue with live band music! .You all did very well! The night was completed with a solo performance by Kyle (Yr 12 Nuriootpa High Student) performing his own piece named "Kody" on Guitar! You are exceptionally talented and we hope that music takes you wherever you want in life! 🎉

For the senior bands,

The time and effort that has gone into your rehearsals to provide us with an entertaining night was completely evident last night! Not only the way your pieces were played but also the time and thoughtfulness that went into your program to reach the brief of "entertainment" was amazing! 🎺🎤🎶🎹🎵

The new voting system "Pot of Gold" was a hit and many patrons were sharing their votes around - even right up until the last possible minute! The audience "voted" that the most entertaining band of the night was .... Drum roll.... Playford City Concert Band! Congratulations to Gareth Budd and his wonderful band and dancing girls! Well thought out and executed program! Took us on a journey around the world! Well done! ☺️☺️☺️☺️

The committee are

Grateful for all people behind the scenes who do what ever they can to assist in this night! Without you help and knowledge this night wouldn't happen. The community spirit lives one in each and every one of you. Thankyou! 😘

To our sponsors! Wow....your generosity every year to assist in any way be it financially or in goods is gratefully acknowledged. Events like this can't happen without your support! THANKYOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! ☺️🎉💫

The hard working committee have put in an unbelievable amount of hours and dedication to make this event a success for you all. In its current format , it is now getting easier to plan and execute, BUT we are looking for committee members to assist. No age is a barrier and all ideas are welcomed to help expand this wonderful tried and tested platform! PLEASE contact us and we will be happy to give you more information!

Finally to each every musician that performed in what every capacity.... Your professionalism is wonderful and we enjoyed hosting this night for you!

We hope to see you all again (with more friends too) next year!

Phew... That's enough for now..... So.....

Until the third Saturday NEXT October....

With warmest regards and for the love of music....🎤🎺🎶🎷🎵🎹
